How it works
Submit — Any business can be submitted for free at orbiplot.com/submit. Our team reviews all submissions within 48 hours for accuracy and legitimacy before the listing goes live on the globe.
Discover — Every approved business appears as a glowing dot on the interactive globe. Search by name, category, or country. Click any dot or cluster to explore full profiles with details, location, founding year, and more.
Claim — Business owners can claim their listing for free by verifying their email domain. Claiming unlocks a full owner dashboard with analytics, profile editing, lead management, and an embeddable verification badge.
Feature — Optionally upgrade to a Featured listing for $29/month. Featured businesses get a highlighted pin on the globe, a verified badge, priority placement in search results, and enhanced profile visibility.
Our approach to data quality
Every listing on Orbiplot goes through a multi-step review process. We check that the business has a real, working website, that the location data is accurate (verified through geocoding against OpenStreetMap), and that the category is correctly assigned.
AI-assisted discovery helps us find businesses that haven't yet submitted themselves. However, AI-suggested listings are always reviewed for accuracy before being published. We prioritise quality over quantity — a smaller, accurate directory is more valuable than a large, unreliable one.
Business owners who claim their listing take full editorial control of their profile. Claimed listings are marked with a verification badge and are considered the most authoritative source of information about that business on Orbiplot.

How does Orbiplot source its business data?
Orbiplot combines user submissions, owner-claimed listings, and AI-assisted discovery. Every business is verified by our team before appearing on the globe. AI is used to suggest businesses, but humans review the data for accuracy.
Is listing a business on Orbiplot free?
Yes. Any business can be submitted for free and will appear on the globe once approved. Business owners can also claim their listing for free to manage their profile. A paid Featured upgrade ($29/month) is available for additional visibility.
How do I claim my business listing?
Visit your business profile page and click 'Claim This Business'. We verify ownership through your business email domain. Once approved, you get access to your owner dashboard to edit the profile, view analytics, and more.
How accurate is the business information?
We strive for high accuracy. Claimed listings are managed directly by the business owner, making them the most accurate. Unclaimed listings are sourced from public information and reviewed before publishing. You can report any inaccuracies using the report button on any profile.
